That day, it was raining in Yogyakarta when the loud cry of a baby boy greeted the ground. Later, the baby boy was named by his parents as Raden Mas Dendang Anom Setadewa. Teto, the baby boy, grew up healthy and smart in the environment and the care of the Keraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat which educated and raised him. They hoped that Teto's presence in this world can bring virtue and he will be able to act as a tough and wise man.

However, Dendang Anom Setadewa decided to choose his own path in life. The life as a noble was not the life he wanted to live. The life of a man is not the life that Dendang Anom wants to live.

At the age of 21, when he went to England to study, Dendang Anom found the way of life he wanted. As a person who lives neither as a man nor as a woman in the glittering world of fashion.
